Graduation

2000
The Chancellor said everyone was ready to Graduate...

I'm not so sure...

The above is either and education major or an art major, either way its scary.
Now to the Graduation that was 10 years in the making. My brother Brian's...

"Mom, Can you believe it? There are no more classes left for me to take, I took them all. I'm really going to do it. I'm going to Graduate!"

See I got it! I really got it!" But isn't that a happy face?

"Congratulations son!"

"Thanks! Didn't think you'd live long enough to see this moment? Did ya?"

"Ya, I didn't think, he'd live that long either. Fooled them all, Ha, ha ha ha!"

"Man, am I glad. I'm ready to move on..."

"Life is good!"

"Look! I'm not even gonna fall down the stairs"

"Wait a minute! All of the money I spent on my education and I still have to pay more for the Diploma?"

Yep, deposit $30 and wait six to eight weeks

"Hey, it's alright. This is the most fun I've ever had with a hat like this on my head!"

And in 10 years...

  • Microsoft Stock went from $2.90/share to over $120/share, with 7 stock splits. And the Dow was at 2600.
  • There was no Internet, personal e-mail, or cellular phones that fit in your pocket.
All seriousness aside. I'm very proud of my brother, Brian. He's the third one of us to graduate. A college degree is still a big deal in our family. Brian, you got your degree and no one can take it from you. It's your to do whatever you want with. Love,

Your brother, John
